| Business Vision | ||
| EDJ
Enterprises, Inc. (EDJ) is a software development company specializing in
applications for the retail store environment. EDJ builds solutions that tie together the pieces of technology provided by the hardware vendors. A signature capture device becomes part of a solution that helps the retailer verify credit card sales to the card issuer by producing not only the signature but also the transaction detail. A pin pad device becomes part of a solution that helps a retailer provide debit access to their customers. EDJ builds products that assist store personnel; loss prevention professionals and sales audit clerks, and offers programming services to enhance installed point of sale systems. EDJ offers basic products at a moderate cost level that provide a quick return on investment for retailers. The basic products are adaptable and expandable to include specific features and functions that an individual retailer needs or wants. EDJ believes in rapid product delivery. The best feedback and system testing is provided by the end user. EDJ uses an iterative approach to creating the final solution. The basic application framework is delivered as early as possible. Screens and reports are shown to the users for their comments and suggestions as soon as possible. Changes in design or function are discovered sooner. EDJ believes in application evolution. Products will be enhanced over time as additional customers request new and innovative features and functions. These new features will be offered to previous customers as upgraded capabilities. The features may be offered as stand-alone functions, or incorporated into an annual maintenance release. EDJ is growing a suite of application products. The applications will enhance installed point-of-sale systems by using the data provided by the point-of-sale system. The applications will be grouped into product families. EDJ applications work together. |
