StoreGazer™ V2.3 Change Notice

EDJ announces an updated release of StoreGazer is available now.

IBM 4690 OS related changes:

• Support for reporting more than 36 background applications.
• Support for new format of 4690 OS V4 vital product data.
• Support for 4690 encrypted FTP password.
• Support for 4690 dynamic IP addressing from BOOTP server (ADX??BPZ.BAT)
• Support for unlimited-length data streams
  (StoreGazer performance enhancement. Previous limit of 32K).
• Ability to load terminal configuration data (option nine).

Alert Processing:

• New Alert Overview display (more information) for entire store network.
• Addition of FileMin/GroupMin size attributes to alert definitions.
• Addition of Day, Date, Frequency, and Interval fields to alert definitions.
• Support to allow Alerts to retain state if EDJAGENT ends/restarts.

Event Filter Processing:

• Support for greater than 20 messages per event (now unlimited).
• Support for wildcard messages in Event file (ex. W* messages).

Miscellaneous:

• Encrypted File Transfer (within StoreGazer FTP).
• Support for Multi-Controller “concurrent” operation quantity.
• User configurable password expiration.
• Support for COPS V2 enhancements of user activity tracking.
• Enhanced automated SQL email.
• Support for multiple StoreGazer servers (shadow servers).
• Ability to configure the amount of messages/audits loaded on startup (number of days).
• Several performance enhancements.
• Support for pipe debugging messages (debug w/no performance degradation)
