IBM Corporation partners with EDJ Enterprises, Inc.
for the Defense Commissary Agency CARTS contract.

EDJ Enterprises, Inc. (EDJ) congratulates the IBM Corporation (IBM) on being selected to provide the IT support services and new point-of-sales system for the Defense Commissary Agency - Commercial Advanced Resale Transaction System (CARTS). EDJ is pleased that IBM has partnered with EDJ to provide critical software components to support and enhance the IBM point-of-sales system.

EDJ is supplying the following application solutions to IBM for inclusion in the CARTS project. EDJ’s StoreGazer™ will provide the systems management capability for the IBM 4690 system. EDJ’s TIPS suite of loss prevention programs (ESCAPE™, EXCEPTion™ and JAM) will provide the first line of defense for controlling shrink and monitoring cashier performance. IBM’s ACE data will be ported to EDJ’s StoreTotals-RT/DB™ application to provide reporting capability and accounting data organization for the CARTS system.
