Supported Web Hosts:

  • Microsoft IIS 7 or Later (With .Net Enabled)

Supported SQL Servers:

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Any Edition, Any Service Pack
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Any Edition, Any Service Pack

(Including Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2)

Supported Operating Systems:

  • Windows XP, Vista, 7
  • Windows Server 2003 SP3 or Later (Including Microsoft Windows 2008 R2)

*Listed Operating Systems Supported running on VMware VM Workstations

Database Overhead

We expect the database overhead to be approximately 20%. This number will vary depending on user’s data.

For a more detailed formula for Database Overhead:
(3.5% X (Compressed Journal Size, not including the Index)) + (100 Bytes X Transaction Count)

With Signature Capture, we are seeing between 10 -20 % growth overhead.

This does not include Database Optimization (Indexing of the database)

With Database Optimization, we are seeing between 5 – 10% overhead with each Optimization.

 

We highly recommend the Database and ESCAPE Web Server are installed on the same machine.
