Review error message, “Unable to load journal text. Text is empty.”

For EscapeWeb version 1.3.2050.7 and earlier, viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer, this error message may appear during the retrieval of the electronic journal data in the Review tool.

This is an issue that usually occurs because of an AJAX control used by EscapeWeb. In newer versions of EscapeWeb the AJAX control is replaced. The error message may still appear, but under very rare conditions.

Work around:

1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer. Select the menu option “Tools”->”Internet Options”.
2. Select “Advanced” tab.
3. Uncheck the “Enable native XMLHTTP support” setting in the “Security” section of the “Settings” list box.
4. Select “OK”.
5. Restart Microsoft Internet Explorer for the setting to take effect.
