EDJ Enterprises believes strongly in application evolution. Products are enhanced over time as we work closely with our customers and business partners to develop new and innovative functionality. Below is an overview of what you can expect in the latest version of StoreGazer.
Operator Authorization
Added an option to update matching operator records when changes are performed on a model authorization record.
Application Configuration
Isolated specific areas of the existing web.config file into multiple configuration files. This will make subsequent updates easier as it will no longer be necessary to reconfigure database connection strings and application settings.
StoreGazer Task Service
The StoreGazer Task Service is a new Windows service that extends the StoreGazer ServerTaskHelper capabilities. Running this service will auto-register the local machine in StoreGazer’s Server Management feature and make that machine available when scheduling a job in Job Management. The service will then start the scheduled job at the designated time, removing any dependency on the Windows Task Scheduler and the need to maintain service account credentials for interacting with the Windows Task Scheduler.
